Acceptable Use

These Acceptable Use provisions are part of the Libreon Terms of Service (“TOS”). Unless otherwise defined here, terms used but not defined below have the meanings assigned to them in the TOS.

Acceptable Use Policy

We are committed to building and nurturing a community where all people feel included, valued, and heard — regardless of economic background, gender, sexual identity, race, ethnicity, or belief system.

To support this vision, we ask all members to follow the guidelines below when interacting with others and using Libreon. Creative works such as manuscripts and fiction are an exception, provided they are clearly labeled with a Libreon Content Rating.

Thank you for helping us ensure Libreon remains a safe, respectful, and welcoming space for all.

Be Nice

We shouldn’t have to say any more.

• You treat others the way you’d want to be treated.
• You treat everyone with dignity and respect at all times.
• You help others feel welcome, heard, and valued.
• You respect differing beliefs and perspectives, even when you disagree.
• You accept feedback with an open mind and humility.
• You understand that your opinion may differ from others, but that doesn’t make them “wrong.”

Keep It Clean

Your interactions should be appropriate for a general audience.

• No offensive, obscene, objectionable, or NSFW content.

No Agendas or Promotions

You keep conversations free from outside agendas.

• No politics, advertising, or self-promotion, including unsolicited DMs (unless explicitly permitted by the platform or community guidelines.)

We do not tolerate behavior that disrupts, mocks, or harms others.

• No trolling, mocking, personal attacks, or instigating arguments.
• Avoid dragging out arguments or intentionally derailing discussions.

Acceptable Use Provisions

1. You agree to adhere to the Acceptable Use Policy
2. You may not Access (or help others Access) the Services:
   1. for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activity;
   2. to violate others’ legal right or encourage such violations;
   3. to threaten, harass, or promote violence or harm;
   4. to engage in or promote child exploitation, abuse, human trafficking, terrorism, or violence;
   5. for infringing, deceptive, or defamatory purposes — including phishing, fraud, or intellectual property violations;
   6. to interfere with any user, system, or network;
   7. to distribute, publish, send, or facilitate:
      1. unsolicited messages, promotions, advertising, or solicitations (or “spam”) in any form;
      2. obscene, lewd, or offensive content;
   8. to violate the terms of other platforms or services;
   9. to impersonate individuals or entities, or otherwise misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or origin in any way;
   10. to request or collect personal, sensitive, or background information from other Users.
